DESCRIPTION:Google Drive\, Docs & Sheets (In Person Class)\nLearn the basics of this popular free web-based alternative to One Drive\, Word and Excel (must have a Google account).   \nGoogle Docs\, Google Sheets\, and Google Drive are free web-based alternatives to Microsoft Word\, Excel\, and OneDrive that are part of the Google suite of productivity tools: \n\nGoogle Docs:  free web-based word processor that allows users to create\, edit\, and store documents. Users can access documents from any computer with a web browser and internet connection\, or from mobile devices with Android\, Chrome\, or iOS.\nGoogle Sheets: spreadsheet tool that allows multiple team members to work on the same spreadsheet at the same time.\nGoogle Drive: storage service that allows users to make automatic backups\, synchronize data and emails across devices\, and share and edit data in real time.\n\nTo use Google Docs\, Google Sheets\, and Google Drive\, users must create a free Google account\, which also provides a Gmail email address. \nPRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ATTENDING THIS WORKSHOP! Walk-ins accepted on a space available basis. Registration closes 24 hours prior to class. \n \nWorkshop Location: \nAmerican Job Center in Wheeling \n1400 S Wolf Road\, Building 200\, Suite 200\, Wheeling\, IL 60090 \n(One block south of Palatine/Willow Road & Wolf Road – west side of Wolf Rd. Ample free parking in front.) \nPLEASE NOTE: \n\nYou must register as there is only space for 15 people per workshop.\nCheck in 15 minutes prior to workshop. ABSOLUTELY NO ADMITTANCE after session starts. Be sure to allow enough time for traffic\, construction & weather.\nYou cannot attend Day 2 only; you must attend both days.\nWorkshops are for individuals age 18+.\nEach person has their own computer for learning.\nIf you need to cancel\, please let us know a minimum of 48 hours prior to class so someone else can use your seat.
